I like the hand-crafted sound here. Nice bass work and chord structure.

I like your mix. I have something a bit like it in the oven.

I like it when you keep the performance real like this.

So that is where the smell is coming from… Now I am anxious waiting for the bell to go off to taste what is that in the oven.

Beautiful song indeed. When she says “I……. know…… you are not good for me…..”, is like feeling her internal struggle.

Thanks! I almost strangled my guitar with the capo near the 12 fret to get some of the sounds.

You have a great piece of music here and the choice of instruments works well.

My big problem is with the mixing as I feel the sounds are all out of balance and need some work to make this into a very special listen

I used two mics set as left and right. You can have an idea where I was standing in relationship to them while playing. Perhaps I was standing more to one side than the other, which may be the unbalance you perceive.

It was not the panning of the guitars I was talking about it was the levels of the guitars and percussion after the intro.

The song starts really nicely but as soon as the vox comes in the guitars and percussion seem to loud and muddy.

At the end of the day its an opinion and maybe you like the sound as it is.

Has a Natalie Merchant unplugged feel to it. Very nice…the vocals could be brought up a bit so they don’t get lost behind the rest of the music, but this is an incredible direction to take the vocal. Nice job.

Like very much the natural sound, and the style. very fresh. But I think the song needs a litle more coordination between the guitars and the shakers.. sometimes the voice too.

Wonderful production with such a great natural feeling. Always nice to hear stuff produced like that.
You also found a very suiting mood for the vocals.
Bravo!
