There is incredible wisdom in so much of Incan ritual, I guess like any culture there are also practices that created harm. Your soundscape evokes the devastation I feel, thinking about those beautiful young women. Haunting sounds that stir the heart. Definitely music for film!! Soulful mix my friend.

Such a sad story. The remarkable preservation of these mummies makes it quite visceral, and a not-at-all abstract tragedy that all these girls’ worth in the eyes of their captors was as a sacrifice.

Great track, very powerful. I hadn’t heard of the Llullaillacao Maidens before, just been reading up on them whist listening to the track. Very sad but amazing to see the preservation.
