A clever and well-crafted combination of source material. I’d nearly forgotten how much I love your written poetry that accompanies many of your remixes. You’ve painted the perfect soundscape to help me delve deeper into your words. Your poetry is extraordinary and deeply moving. “Thank goodness for those full stars, those bright angels shining in the darkness…”

It is Halloween, so a switch to sci-fi to horror seemed appropriate. I stuck with the same concept of using only or almost only the single source artist. I’ll probably do a few more to at least fill out the story of the Walker. I may do a few for winter with a mythological bend. I’m enjoying the experiment of telling stories through paired written and sound poems.

You’re a master sonic storyteller. I’ve not fully explored all the stems you used from Hans Atom, but I’d imagine they’ve been cleverly pieced together. Didn’t find it creepy as such. At some level your sonic mix sounds like a modern rendition of the Throat Singing style :)

At first I was like “Lyrics? PorchCat’s going to sing?” Alas, not to be- but quite clever and well-done.

This takes some opening of time and space and mind, but it feels a bit like falling into a spaceship pressing against the gravity belts of some interstellar body, it’s reminding me why I should come back and spend more time here again. Seeing so many people who appear to have just kept at it. Then to be treated by popping my head back in again.
