I like Melissa’s new crop of poems, too. I’ve been checking out your new things on and off today, letting them sink in.

What a fun bit of dissonance to leaven up this piece. It fits well with the spoken word piece. I’m not sure what all you did to improve the vocals, but they sound crisp.

The drone sample morphs I really like, but I might have brought them up even more dynamically during times when the words are not being spoken.

The percussion is jaunty, and the carnival reference for me is kinda Mr. Kite, although there’s not really a resemblance there.

I had hoped Faith Without Creed would get a novel use, other than the kind of things I would do with it, and my hopes became real.

Good work - I like the combo of samples and the way you tweaked them - creates a very nice atmosphere…
