The cello works very well with the guitar. This piece might be more fun expanded out a bit, with a few mild pitch shifts and alterations on the guitar and the cello on the extra bits.

Nice live sound.
And great discovery very much like those old Duncan Browne guitar pieces. |

Thanks!
Yes, I agree on the live sound. In fact, the bass sounds rather like my upright bass. No idea why or how ;) |

I don’t want this to appear rude or patronising but your mixes are getting better and better!

Thanks Shelf, appreciated!

I think my remixes are better since I use VST instruments. Before I used software in which I couldn’t even do triplets and such - not even on the drums.
It’s been a pretty stiff learning curve for me, switching to other software (Podium Free). I don’t consider myself a producer at all, I just play bass. Still, I’m happy that I can use some (very limited) mixing skills to express what I want better. So thanks again Shelflife, I appreciate your comment. |

The more one works at something the better one gets. I can definitely hear your progress. In today’s age you have to be an engineer and producer, it just goes with the territory. Very nice work.

Great to hear that, thanks!
