Ciggi just flat owns this song. i get a big charge every time i hear her sing it. but backing her w/ that earth wind & fire vibe while Neuro-funk holds down the fort & stefan plays his horn is unexpected
magic. loved it!

Well Wicki Wacki, Yum Yum to you LS for taking me back in time to days when my backcombed hair would block the stage view and my clothes would carry Government warnings!

Very Funky and a tad nice too!

This took me back in memory onto dancefloors I’ve never trod.

The beat provides a viral surge
under a voice too infectious for words.

I love the way the horns roll in and roll out, and just when I was about to formulate the part about how if this were 197x, then the percussion would do y, then the percussion did y.

A great listen. Propulsive.

This tears it up! I feel like I’ve just been spun around the dance floor by the master — Ciggi sparkling like the mirror ball, the horns tracking all the ladies from the bar. Fabulously WOW!

I’ve heard this accapella before, and man did you ever bring it to life with a groove that doesn’t feel vintage, but reflects the gloss and polish of 80s dance music.

I’m always pleased to get notified of a new LS upload but to be included in one! Yep, it’s starbursts of climactic pleasure for me on this very nice Friday. Fantastic mix up for me and oldDog. w&a&l is like some defining, designer piece that cost ££££$$$$££$s: it’s timeless and perfect every time it shows up. Big thanks, LS. xx

I love it. The kind of thing you have to get up and dance to - and those instrumental samples are great.

Ciggi got to the recommend button first, so have some of these:

One more time your skills in this art highlight in this mix.
Sounds really well in HD 555, the cousin of your 580 :)

First let me say for all that don’t know of the Fatback Band you need to check them out. With songs like the Bus Stop, I Like The Girls, and the first rap on a record King Tim the 3rd.
Funky funky fo sho.
And speaking of funky, Boarding school funk is gets a thumbs up from me.
