She is overcome by a miasma of psychological fears, yet its still lovely…that wall of sound is huge like a tidal wave in a dream…plus I adore any lyric with “vulpine” included.

…..this so beautiful..!!!!
Your voice..your voice..your voice..!!!!!!
When i remember your first remixes with all your little technical problems of sounds that you had and when i hear your work today..I realise the impressive progress that you have made. Everything here is, for me, perfect..The melody, the sound, the groove, the atmosphere, the effect, every little detail is a delight for my ears…You are unique..
..but, why do you leave so far..?

Great work again!

As to LS’s comments on your voice you go ahead and keep stretching it to its limits! That’s what music should be about. Taking things to the extreme and not staying within any preconceived boundaries. Sometimes this means the pitch wobbles about a bit or the guitar bleeds or the drums miss a few beats. But so what!

It’s all about the emotions that good music can bring about and this is good music!

I admire your concern for the singers here at CCM and have now added “Medical Adviser” to my list of your many attributes!!

Can you recommend a good mouth wash and oral hygiene program to me as you know I have recently started singing a bit more and at my advanced age I do not want to run the risk of any polyps or God forbid have to have surgery!!:)

I have responded here to both you & LS:
whilst I am overjoyed at all you alls’ concern over my range/polyps/potential medical conditions/out of tuneyness/general well being despite of a free national health care I can well assure:
1) I have been screaming and over=extending the vox for years, despite lack of intonation it seems quite unwilling to destruct
2)have actually been a professional singer (one who gets paid- is that the definition???)still no polyps
3) have to scream at work to be heard
4)often imitate yoda and/or grover from sesame street especially when my sister is on the phone
5)simply like yelling up to the third floor to be let in rather than ringing the bell

not sure if these admissions help, hinder or actually cause no carbon foot print whatsoever

This is both wonderfully complex and yet so simple, in a way; the only thing I can compare it to would be be to say it does for my ears what a De Chirico or Hopper painting does for my eyes- a state of mind easily recognized internally, and so clearly expressed, but describing it in dry prose? No can do.

A friend of mine posted a picture to her flickr account of the sun setting over Canberra. The Mediterranean sun there showed vibrant colors but also a gentleness our harsh Texas sun denies us. I looked at the picture and thought of Mediterranean suns I have seen and the gauzy sky and the play of colors in the field of the sky. When I heard this song, I returned once more to the image— http://www.flickr.com/photo...
The clouds show amazing colors, and amid them a burning light, a distant fire, run, baby, run.
