The most remarkable thing about epiphanies is that that nothing is ever the same afterwards…your description seems to imply that you’ve had a few from time to time. Some epiphanies are grand, but many are realizations of Life’s simple joys (like the sun glinting through the rose-of-sharon you mention)- the mood and texture of your remix here I think embodies that feeling - certainly the lyrics re-enforce it too. FINALLY got around to reviewing after listening to it several times. I love this electro-reggae take on LS’s wonderful tune. You guys always seem to find a way to surprise this black guy! Yet another song for my playlist and another producer in my mental rolodex! Wonderful!
