Never Should Have Let You Down
Never Should Have Let You Down
While morphing Admiral Bob’s “Into the J” into TRF’s “The J”, discovered a vocal in our sample library that fit the Admiral’s chord progression in Am without the usual victimization or torture used to coax vocals into the mix de jour. Decided to comeback to the vocal after the jazzy guitar and brushes remix was completed. Added synth chords and urban beats to the “The J”. Retained some of ElRon’s guitar lines, brass lines, and Admiral Bob’s bass, organ and rhythm guitar. Urban beats were cobbled together using several different drum samples including a Whitewolf snare, a DJ Snyder snare and drum fills from Stefan Kartenberg’s 0815. The studio vocals are uncredited, licensed samples from a Latin house collection.

Texasradiofish’s song has me daydreaming of a beautiful summer day in the late 70’s. Sitting down at a park, watching a softball game and listening to the AM radio. Wonderful memories. Mana Junkie
