Sometimes it’s hard to write a love song when consumed by the horror of current events. So this is inspired by that… and conversations about that… and even conversations about not bringing politics into a love-themed event. All those conversations made this song better… more universal. Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts.

But hey, to me, the personal has always been political and who am I to fight inspiration when it kindly strikes? And so… I do hope you dig.

I went with the Key of A. It feels hopeful, but allowed the needed tension for the bridge.
