Ich Bin Unsichtbar

I came up with this track a couple of years ago, not long after I discovered MIDI and soft synths. I wanted to create a 3-minute pop song that might have appeared in the late 70s/early 80s.
I’m not German and I don’t speak German, but I think German is cool and it is the language of synth gods Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream. I came up with a few phrases and used an online translator—and so, for all I know, the lyrics may not make sense! But I thought I’d use sound fx (obtained from a copyright-free sound library—not Freesound Project) to illustrate the subject of each line (I talk/laugh/run/work etc. etc.). But the real point is the refrain, which means: I am invisible, I am invisible, Fifty years old, I am invisisble. I used a free VST vocoder for the voice. I added iZotope “Vinyl” to attempt an 80s 45rpm sound. I’ll add the stems in the downloads section.
