I really like it. Its quirky but the bassline gives it a friendly and simplistic feel that keeps you in the groove while the melodies and synths mess with your mind. Jolly good

Thanks for the review. Listen to it again, M. Uploaded a new version with Leza’s vocoder set to the correct key. I thought the song sounded out of key in places. IT WAS!!! “:0)

Yeah the vox really works much better now. Makes the chorus much bigger. Its a really cool track

Hey dood, quirky is the word I’ll borrow :-) Massive production with heaps going on below the vocal.
Hard to believe she’s only twelve. Thanks so much for remixing this !

The vocoder effect adds just the right touch of polish to make Scomberina sound a decade older. The result is a slick pop song, plain and simple.

Thanks, Admiral. Plain and simple pop is accurate and was the objective.

Great stuff TRF. You did right by scomberina. Does the key and tempo really matter though?

The key matters if the vocal lines don’t feel and sound right in the music.

The tempo matters if the vocals lines don’t feel right in the music

Otherwise, it don’t matter to me.

On the don’t matter side, todays editors provide some elasticity wrt source and target key and tempo.
