I was seeing and listening to multiple Tricky Dicks posted to ccmixter today while working at home and thought, “hey, I could whip out a Tricky Dick during lunch.”

Yeah, it’s different for me, although I have posted a couple remixes using metal rock b/t.

Appreciate the feedback, Coruscate.

Wrt remix length, didn’t have anything more to say musically while creating the song so I stopped.

Wow.

Really unusual one, cause it’s metal I think.

Too pity it’s that short :(

Great, Metal. You can’t hear so much metal here, nice to see this one around.
The voice is in the front loud and dry and the band in the back, far. If that was your intention, this sounds like and interlude track on an album

Thanks for listening and commenting, DURDEN.

Hadn’t thought of the piece as serious metal audio art worthy of mixing and mastering. It was an idea that I thought up then cut & pasted during a lunch break after hearing some folks uploading “tricky dick” remixes.

It has about 20 minutes of time in it and maybe 10 minutes for a change uploaded later that day.

Treated it as a voice over using a metal backing track. More like a radio clip or sketch than a song. Hadn’t thought about mixing it as a metal song.

I know zero about what a metal mix should sound like. I dabble in different genres. Metal is not one in which I have any experience or skills of consequence.

If yould like to remix it let me know, I could provide the voice and music as separate streo tracks. Don’t have a CC license to provide bass, drum, guitar as stems, however.

FYI: Used similar metal stems on two other remixes: Deep in Yourself (Come Talk to Me) and Mississippi (River Devil)
