I like the house style with Jessurun’s vocals here. I think the clap works well with the house style mix…even with the delay you had me going all the way up until it cut off at the end. I’m thinking this mix should fade out using the ambient, melodic aspects that were going on earlier in it.

actually, I think this style remix is closer to the intention (lyrically anyway) of the song than a moody, somber feel; it is after all a hopeful song. The fx are a little much, you really couldn’t work out the sync?

I’m listening to the track at DJ’s site. So nope, I was wayyyy off. ;)

I could have synced it better but these uptempo ones are hard for me to keep working on them for more than a couple of days. Yah I know lousy work ethic but I need to do one of these once in while to convince myself I’m not turning into Yanni. : )

So its been a while since the line has moved and I’m debating hitting another club, but this is the happening spot. I’m pretty close to the entrance and all I’ve seen is wave after wave of half drunk, half naked women pour in and out of the club making my decision to stay easier, even if my chances of “hooking up” are remote and possibly delusional.

Finally!!! I make it in and rush the young lady behind the tubs of $1 Heinies and Ronas in an attempt to pace myself for the long night ahead. I’m feeling kinda out of place here since every one is at least 10 years (or so) my junior, but I can’t seem to give this night life shit up.

Ah hah!!! Hottie at 3 o’clock. Let me casually stroll over to the bar where she resides and lay some of this Pat Chilla game on her. “Hey,how you doing tonight?” She laughed……at me. Oh well.

Anyways, the dj has been mega mixing this track for the last twenty minutes or so and the dance floor is packed!!! I’m cool wit that.

This is my favorite Remix so far. I hope that’s ok to say around here. ;-)

I was bit worried you’d hate all the delay. Thanks for posting. You’re awesome.

I’m sure there will be more on the way from other Mixters so don’t judge yet. ;)

I think that using the fx on the voice makes sense, and the loops sound good. The voice isn’t far enough “up” in the mix for my taste, although I know that’s an aesthetic choice.

I like that bit of just beats and voice at 2:45. I like the chorus effect soon thereafter. A solid mix.
