How in the blue hell is this NOT an editor’s pick, is what I want to know.

In-freaking-credible.

thanks for all your kind words and an editors pick no less. you guys are awesome.

not so awesome: i went to rebounce this with the vocals up since they _are_ down a bit and super, my external samples hard drive has now died, fucking great. (so whoever wanted the percussion free remix, i could make that now pretty easily since all my drum samples are missing).

using computers to make music makes me want to not make music at all, i am so tired of hard drives dying and things freezing up and crashing and corrupting everything. anyone want to lend me a million bucks so i can have an analog studio? =P

gotta back stuff up on cd and lock it in a cotton safe. Cd’s don’t die, they just scratch, and you can at least prevent that.

Sorry for the loss, can’t say I didn’t learn my lesson the hard way too…

Yeah..! Calendar “Rocker sauce”. Great sound and good harmo’. This is a good way to bring out the beauty of this melody and of her voice..Excellent work..!
(just take care to the balance on the first chorus, the voice is a little “eaten”. It’s better on the second one)

Just brilliant again.

That vox definition issue is there just a bit again when you blow up but man that’s an easy fix

The layered guitars are very effective, and this one works very well. I like in particular the portions in which the guitars and vocals stand alone, without percussion. The piece might be even more interesting if the only percussive section were the filtered vocals section which begins around 2:15. This is a really good remix—well done.

Very nice take. Everything sounds so clean and pro, you’d never know you didn’t collaborate in person. Outstanding.

Too awesome for words. It inspired me to add cgirl harmonies to the chorus parts. See ever colour harmony.

Hello!

I just wanted to let you know that I used your song in my Internet radio program “Under the Radar,” featuring songs from CCMixter. At the moment, we’re only broadcasting on-campus, but write back to me (amoolin89@ AT care2.com) if you’d like to be informed when we go public!

Thanks, and keep up the great music!

I have listened to all remixes with these vocals, and this is definitely the best of them all. Just awesome.

This is my favourite in the Calendar Songs album vol. 1. It was beautiful when you uploaded first, it is even more beautiful in the CD production. The “crazy amount of guitar layers” is a catching style which is SO attractive to a keyobard player like me!!
it’s true, Calendar Girl puts her voice as a marking sign, but you give your own style to it with great results.
After such a beauty, it will be hard for me to think anything else as a remix of the Calendar Girl August
