aha- you are funny for wanting to talk bout usa politics. We just want birth control to be legal, and to talk on the phone without anyone else listening. these are the small things at stake. Some want guns and emotionally detroyed POWS- I just want birthday cakes and cheaper seroquel. and the ability to go nuts in a mall without consequence. But shit- that’s just me. and this is beautiful and brilliant and breath-taking btw- one of your best if not the best.

Each life in every place and time that ever has been and shall be in human history comes into existence with hand-me-downs, both psychological and ethical. We are given a world view shaped by earlier ancestors and if blessed or lucky, some,in moments of clarity, see trough the mask for a brief second and break out of the body of fate. There is no escape from conditioned human life…but there is relief in Art, music, poetry perhaps….
This is a very good production RT. Something with content and with a message too….whether hopeful or hopeless is in the mind of the beholder.

Man, someone needs to do a video for this! As Zippy the Pinhead might say, “Are we hoisted by our own petard yet?”

I could only hear on laptop speakers but WOW it sounded very cool. I love thinking some sample is worn out and then someone comes along and squeezes something wonderful out of it - and you did it with half a dozen lol.

Very nice work RT. Part I was masterfully concocted (and I use that word in a good way). Part II was very dissonant in my ears and maybe just a little too much so for my sonic sensibilities but I say that as a very personal note and also I say that I could see the point in doing that.

These circuses that you refer to are of fairly little substance. The triumphs and petty squabbles of these individuals are certainly note worthy but to have them sweep away imagination from the incredible hardship and strife plaguing so much of the world is in my opinion an abomination and we should all be incredibly grateful for every comfort we have, no matter how great or how small. If you (meaning any of you, not just “you” RT) have the luxury of sitting down at a computer for a little while and listening or creating here you should be setting aside time too to count your blessings. What the olympics shows is the triumph of human persistence when coupled with natural ability. Imagine if lots of people applied the same persistence to solving global problems that these athletes put into training and achieving olympic dreams. We might live on a very different planet. Perhaps someday we will.

Some good points you make here Ms E.

Mankind is a self serving animal no matter what place he takes on life’s stage. It really always is about number one. Some are capable of stepping away from themselves and look to do the greater good but they are so few amongst the rest of us who are racing for glory!

I have far too many computers and pieces of software. A room set aside for my guitars and other musical instruments that contains so many that some have not been played for years. I should give some away to a deserving cause. But will I. NO!!!

See what I mean!! Despite what I write and sing about I’m as bad as the rest!
