Oddly satisfying indeed…I do love crows!

Thanks- I actually had to notch them a little bit, it sounded like they were almost sitting on your shoulder, at first. (CAW-CAW-CAW!!)

I like the interchange between the two vocals, something you have to listen to a few times to appreciate all the subtleties

Thanks Shagrugge- I was hoping someone would comment on that aspect! ;-)

Duckett, I like these soundscapes, a gentle rain and the lazy day, all from a forest and a sewer! Oh the irony of perception, definitely an apropos name for this one. Your delving is also fun because its like you’ve gone out and done all the sample shopping and now I can raid your sample fridge!

Thanks- just please don’t put the carton of thunderstorm back in, if there’s only a few drops left!

In donning headphones and applying the “paranoiac-critical-method” of Senor Dali and the Surrealists…I can safely say that Mr. Duckett has got the genteelism’s down…now pass the flaming giraffes and all will be well….Or - I really liked it!

Thanks! I can’t deny I keep the “Rainy Taxi” service on speed-dial in a corner of my mind; there’s too many worthwhile destinations that I’d never reach, if I didn’t let the cabbie decide for me once a in while!

I’ve liked that forestsurroundings since before it was in mp3, when I could never get it to download right from freesound—andw when I finally get it down and into a mix, lo and behold, you’ve already done something really fun with it.

I really like that Farallon Quartet album, and keep thinking that I could so something with it. I think your use is a good one—it’s just built with reading-accompanying capability.

I hope to sample those recorders into my synth for something chill in the coming days. Thanks for doing this one, to remind me what fun can be had with good will, librivox, and a barrage of talented recorder players!

Thanks, I certainly wouldn’t be indulging my taste for material like this as freely, if it weren’t for people like you here ;-)

That is awesome, ducky. You and the other ambient inclined folks should be heading up sound direction for video games. These compositions are so physical, even on a stereo speaker setup.

Thanks! I’ve always thought the level of attention to sound design can make or break a game; the people that actually do it are light-years ahead of me knowledge-wise, I just have decent instincts from time to time ;-)
