Kewl song! I’d not call it surf, but I’d call it sounds I like :) Very well mixed; Everything is seated; Gtr solo evocative of later period David Gilmore in places. I can dig it brother.

Such a proficient music writer you are. Again perfect for the lyric. I like the frank simplicity of the line ‘I wish you were here - but you’re not’.

I really like Kara’s lyric too. I think it is the lyric that made me want to take this on.

Admiral! I love what you’ve done! The bass line is rocking… the subtle background synth is a very nice addition… the drums a classic steady choice… and you left plenty of room for the vox and your amazing guitar. AND whoa! Your guitar solos are just fabulous. LOVE it! Thank you so very much for this.

Very nice with excellent Mark Knopfler style guitar playing.
Just at the end, the song is unfortunately truncated a bit, probably happened during export.

This is a wonderful treatment Admiral — you set up and support Kara’s vox with the right amount of punch, sound and feeling. Great job! I hope you and yours have a splendid new year!

Thanks. It was a quick bit of fun. Hot Core reminds me I’ve got to be a bit more ambitious next time. :)

one of the many things i love about ccM is the way we push one another to expand, grow, create and develop. while the hollywood music industry stopped its artist development years ago, we are picking up the slack (and more) here at ccM!!! happy new year Richard :)

Not normally my thing, but I found this mix really quite enjoyable. Had two listens (oooh). Top stuff!
