It’s a little rough in parts but I wanted to get it uploaded before I started tinkering with it too much.

Rock poetry takes the red-eye to Europe. Very well done!

Well the use of a vocal about a laid back holiday somewhere in Europe did make me think twice about using it but Timbermans lyrics and delivery seemed to fit the moment very well.

Very reminiscent of the master while staying just this side of outright copying. :)

Yes the balance to get the “Walk” in was a fine one which is why I only played the first 4 notes. With this great song 4 is more than enough. The repeating guitar phrase is meant to acknowledge the “do do da dohs”! and the saxaphone an extended nod to Ronnie Ross who played on the original version of WOTWS. I originally copied Herbie Flowers distinctive bass part as played on the record but thought that was going too far so played it without the runs and used samples instead of a live bass.

Been travelling some 500 km’s by car today and thanks to modern technology I could stream the song from here to the car stereo via the phone for repeated listening. This is perfect laid-back driving music, I found out and I’m very flattered you’ve chosen this pella for this fine tribute.
PS. Sorry for the bad quality of the pella.

Thanks for the kind words and thank you for another fine vocal.

The recording quality dims very quickly when the content and delivery are so good!
