Looks like you found the hidden blues, SackJo. Good creation on top of Pitx’s guitar.

Nothing sloppy about this, Sack. I love the mood you’ve created, the great lyrics a perfect fit with the vocal line and Pitx’s delicious playing. Your singing, as always, is a total treat for the ears. ‘Whiskey Down’ goes straight to Ciggi’s Favourites playlist! xxxx

Thanks Ciggi. Nothing like some whiskey-fied clarity.

Thanks Anchor — this was a lark and certainly experimental on my part.

Great lyric and vocal. Dark bar illuminated by black lights and the glowing light behind a bottle of Tennessee whiskey.

Thanks my friend. I was thinking of that hangdog character at the bar, hat on the stool next to him, nursing the gold.

I was hoping someone would get on pitx’s new piece and turn it into a blues number. Glad it was you.

Thanks Admiral B. It’s not a “real” blues — but I had fun.

Wonderful, SJ. Never heard you doing anything like this before. Blues, an art form so deeply rooted in the American soil, so of course you can do the blues. The vocal delivery is confident and straight forward as it should be. A new side of you. Can we have more? I mean it!

As I responded to the good Admiral, this is not a “real” blues — more like urban, arty, blues influenced. But I’m sure glad you like it. That means a lot to me.

Not bad, Susan. But this time, you sang a bit too quiet and too reluctant for me. I know you can also sing very good in upper pitches. Nevertheless a great work, I like it anyway!

I’m glad you like it anyway Donnie — I was playing around, trying something different.

The song has a great live feel. Good call on the low-end drums. This type of music sounds better, to these ears with a bit o’ slop to it. Great work!

Thanks my dear FB. The drum mix is all Pitx whose track inspired this slop in the first place.

Thanks my friend! The taiko is all from Pitx’ mix…those drums caught my interest too.

Susan, you for sure improved the already wonderful work of Pitx. I’m proud spending the base rythm for this great remix.

Sometimes, i’ve the chance, in my job (decorative painting) to collaborate with some women. I love to work with her, because, they feel and see the things in a different way that i’m unable to feel and to see. I learn everytimes.
What i love in your music, it’s your way to feel and to hear the things in this “different” way..!!

Great work…Madame..

..Do you paint..???

Thank you so much for this kind review my dear Ditto. I feel that you too have a special way of hearing and expressing that comes through in your music.

And I have painted, although not much lately as life is very, very full.
