I know there are folks in our community who film, edit and produce film and video. Guess I’m wondering, how many people in our community are interested in remixing video stems, along with music stems? :)

You mean video editing. Same concept but video instead of audio.

I was working on a similar concept, but from the other direction. I am learning to make short movies. I went from using images from existing commercial movies with commercial music to making my own images using creative commons music. I usually look around for music that fits with the images to make a story..Since last year I moved towards creative commons resources for music.
This year I was aiming to gain more control over the music/sound.. that is why I recently joined cc-mixter.
I have still to learn a lot (and not enough time to do it fast, because I have to do it in my spare time), but I would be interested to find out what would be needed to take this a step further.

Well, the last year i’ve also give it a try……
Mostly with “borrowed” ;-) snippets out of Utube or somfin available at the net.
The new net-policy of youtube/gema/acta ect. makes it harder to get, combine and to publish IYKWIM !!!
In the beginning of the year i’ve bought a small camcorder. Will try to do some selfmade Vids…

The follwing vids were made with a nice small and self-explanatory Freeware-tool named… Video-Pad-Editor
I’m still using it, it’s really errm handy !!
