Salman Ahmad Magnatune Remix Contest

admin 223 posts admin	. permalink Mon, Jun 18, 2007 @ 11:07 AM As a founder of one the most popular music groups in the world, Salman Ahmad has sold over 25 million albums, has been the subject of several BBC documentaries, invited to play at the United Nations by the Secretary General and is a house-hold name in many parts of the world. Now Salman has agreed to put his entire album into the Commons by signing a deal with Magnatune and releasing the sources to his song “Natchoongi” here at ccMixter for a remix contest. The site is honored to be hosting such an event and as musicians we are grateful for the chance to enhance our artistic boundaries by building on the Salman’s catalog. Peace and happy mixing! VS
