Thank you very much. The brass recording I try to do in one or two takes per part, get too perfectionistic never finish anything. If there is a difficult part I practice it for a couple of times right before commiting it to computer ( was going to write “tape”!)
What is really difficult for me because it time consuming is midi recording/editing/ sampling the base of the arrangement… The other parts of the process that doesn’t require midi entry like selection of loops, samples, looping percussion and other stuff, drum programming, trying effects, editing for tightness, organizing the material etc, I prefer to do them on my laptop sitting in the living room or in bed before sleeping so it feels more like fun and relaxation. I prefer the idea that making music does not feel as a chore one unfortunately has to do, but a reason to be joyful and thankful. |

As Briareus says “You’ve taken it to another level”.
I’ve heard one man bands before but I think this is this first I’ve heard of a one man big band. This is great. : ) |
.
I am happy that you enjoy the piece, thank you for your kind words Briareus Teru and Fourstones. Peace.

obviously brilliant.
just take it easy on the tags — can’t really be ‘instrumental’ and ‘female_vocals’ at the same time now can it? More about why that’s important here |
.
Got it fourstones, Thanks.

All that is made of love, by love, for love or with love is the pure manifestation of our inner beings…mix it with a Sivuca’s style introduction, some Orquestra Tabajara brass, a strange but powerful accent from Manola and a Buena Vista Social Club rythm, and we have a pure joyful track!
Phuckn’tastic! |

Damn, dude, how many brass instruments do you own?
And … my God you must be a recording engineer as well to have recorded them with such clarity. This arrangement makes me yearn for some full blown DCI type gut busting horn sections. kickass, man, totally kickass! |

Madrugada a la Gil Evans makes me want a mojito really badly! This track is silky and sweaty at the same time, just like it ought to be.
I featured this track as number 4 in the hooks first ever playlist. keep em coming! |
.
I was honored to find out that the track was chosen for the first Hooks playlist. Than you :-)!!
