One never knows what good, bad or ugly notion will be coupled with one’s freely shared creative commons contributions. Surely we’ve all been chagrined, embarrassed, horrified or down right apoplectic after observing the application of our works. TRF attracts crazies of all stripes.
Reiswerk seems to be taking this satirical remix in stride. |

There are several aspects of this all I see. First I disagree with TRF saying that it sound less insulting - but that’s a personal opinion.
Secondly - cool mix and perfect match. But most importantly: We have a right wing party over here in Germany as well and from experience with that it not made sense to make fun out of the vomit they produce. It is required to go out and shout back loud even when this means you risk your personal reputation. Making fun of it will just lead to more separation (and the impression for the opposite you put yourself on a higher level). Arguing in the same loudness seems to be accepted as equivalent. Sad sad times nowadays. :-( |

Oh, my. Political feedback.
Siobhan, the satire is about numbness towards and leverage of violence against women and objectification of women in popular culture irrespective of politics, personality or political party. Sources from two political parties were employed. We seek to lampoon and satirize whatever comes to mind in often politically incorrect ways. We also remix material irrespective of our opinions of the topic and message. With respect to commenting on politics, politicians and elections beyond satirical works, we seek to enjoy ccmixter in an apolitical manner. Hi Mr T Radio Fish
I write from post Brexit decision UK where many people who I know are fearful of what we have become and may become even worse going forward. Personally I will seek to leave the planet with my friends and family if Trump wins as it wont be a world that I want to live in anymore, even if the world still exists (the risk of a nuclear strike against the clintons and various ex beauty queens being so high, it might not) I had a listen to this when you first posted it (even before you put up your supporting narrative). Didn’t know what to say so have waited for a while. I think we can all agree [on this site at least] that sexual assault is vile, totally wrong, evil crime. Hypocrisy being a bad thing I would have thought is a shared value Free speech definitely something we all agree on Satire, a high form of art, yes I think most of us would agree We may have different answers to which lying hypocrite we would rather sit next to at a dinner party I don’t get the gangster rap thing - the vile stuff that is said in gangster rap is just that vile. But it comes from people who have no power and so seek petty power from the barrel of their gun. Not billionaire “business men” or “politicians” who already have plenty of power. I think the Donalds comments are worse for that reason So all in all I support your mix, but still feel uneasy |
