you’ve given new meaning to the word resilience and i have found it to be quite opening for my mind and heart. the first section is like a captivating abstract painting that then leads into the second section that is mysterious and delicate. beautiful vision and creativity.

Oh Martin, I get what you did here.
Indeed wood is a strong symbol for resilience. The abstract start of unorder moving into the calm core of the homesick rhythm I would compare to trees in a storm and morph into the quiter winds. Thank you for not only mixing me but also giving the track new life and reason. |

Thank you SD!
Working on this was fascinating; I presume you have studied arrangement, when I see all those stems adding subtleties to the track. Though I had a a basic idea for the track, I tried not to be too much in its thrall and to let the music sing. Very Best, Martin |

I enjoyed the listening throughout. It’s also an interesting source of material to be remixed!!

Quote: “His tracks are so finely crafted, there is little that I could add” — you articulated the challenge perfectly for Secret Mixters assignments! I think you did an awesome job here. Love the atmospheric treatment.

Playful, pensive, and so much fun :)
Excellent choice for the changeup into part two, it complements the opening completely. You know a track is good when all you can do is get inspired! Nice one, Martin :) ![]() ![]() |
