Wow! Glad you guys liked it. I agree that the tonality is not a perfect match to the vocal (but it isn’t a total clash either). I played around with it, and didn’t like the changed versions better than the one I ended up posting. I like the beats too - I really just put together some fairly canned loops/sounds that came with FL in a combination that sounded cool to me, and then I spruced it up with a bunch of other sounds from FL, the free Crystal synth (if you haven’t acquired that, you really must), the FreeSound sample. I was surprised to hear a rave about the soft pads during Lisa’s a capella harmony section - I never really got them quite the way I wanted. That’s the problem with being on the learning curve; you hear a lot of things in your head that you can’t play yet (maybe that never really goes away :) Anyway, thanks for listening and giving some feedback & encouragement.

Regarding the Freesound Project where I got the bird sound sample: seems like a vast wealth of sounds, not all usable, but very fun to search and explore. I’d recommend people check it out.
