Joyfully, joyfully… :) Full of life, dripping off the treeline.

Superb! Your voice sounds crystal clear… like you’re right in front of us playin’ live. Beautiful recording job (and tip o’ the hat to Key’s good taste in mics!). Excellent re-remix, too!

Yup, that’s one of the best mics for the $. Sounds great, had to Ed Pick!

Key sent us a NT1 to try and said he was pretty sure we’d notice a diff. Major understatement. Our $49 MXL 990 is good, but dammmmm, this heah is a whole ‘nutha thang. Thanks, Dr. J, all the props really go to Scomber on this. He played all the instruments & produced the original mix.

Great sounds and a fine mix by both you and Scomber.
There is so much crap talked about mic’s. I’ve worked in studios with some of the most expensive gear money can buy but its what you do with it that matters more. In the hands of a master even the most basic kit can sound great and the reverse is also true. The most successful mic in history is the Shure 57. Check out it’s price!! I’ve been using a Rode NT2 for the last 15 years and its as good as any Neumann once you pull the name tags off!! Expensive gear is what makes the customers pay more but in reality cheaper gear can work just as well. |

Scomber’s b/t has such verve and energy that it works perfectly against Panu’s softly melancholy vocal. The characteristics of each are heard to their very best advantage. Congrats to both on the Ed Pick!
