You probably didn’t mean it that way but just to be clear - I don’t say I like something if I don’t.
As I was listening to all of the uploads I was writing down the ones that impressed me the most. Ended up being a list of five. This is one of them.
Which is not to say that there were only five mixes I was impressed by. Quite the opposite. My biggest take-away from this event is, wow, there sure are a lot of talented people here. It’s really quite humbling. I feel so blessed to have found this community of creators and that I get to be a part of it.

I get that, and appreciate it. All I meant to imply is that you’re always kind in your comments, even when there are imperfections or rough patches.
This is the best secret mixter ever, in my opinion. Hope you can tune in to the listening party Thursday!

Yeah, I 100% had traveling on the brain. Was thinking spacecraft (probably because of the NewScientist video), but trains work too. Something passive and kinda lazy and relaxing.

I sometimes worry about the loose, jammy, exploratory approach being a rut that I’m in — a crutch for a dilettante who can’t/won’t put the work in to craft a proper compositional structure.
But this open-ended stuff just feels really rewarding, it’s an ongoing internal conversation…

At the end of the day (which is right about now), I think “Curation” is more musically successful. But those happy little accidents are one of the best things about the mixterverse — so I’ll take it.
