No, he is not. Gentle and mild? No. A man who punches down, whose scorn is for the weakest and admiration is for only the strongest. A man of little personal virtue, and of even less thoughtfulness. And most cruelly, professes that his favourite book says “And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt.” and yet acts as though the opposite directive had been given.

I don’t share your hopeful sentiments but I’m very glad there are people like you who do.
“Good people believe In the evil he speaks.” No they don’t. Ignorant bigots believe in the evil he speaks. Good people see through the lies. You’ll have to forgive me, I just watched the Devo doc on Netflix. I think they were much closer to the truth - we are devolving. Fast. |

My friend, I definitely am surrounded by and stand in witness to the devolving. And yes, many people who follow him are ignorant, bigots, greedy, evil. I do know good people though who have been led astray because of their fears and their loyalty to a version of the news that spins everything. I hope they eventually see the light.
I always welcome your perspective! And I appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment. |

Important perspective full of important hope. Beautifully, delicately sung with such lovely adds from Sackjo22 and Caspian.
It stirs my heart. I do believe that a handful of his followers will someday see the light… and maybe, just maybe we’ll get through this devastating chapter of America. |

Your words are so true in the current state that we live. Musically beautiful.
