I’m really loving this. The pairing of vocals sounds effortless and makes for a great duet. Nice mellow indie pop tune.

Oh brother, this is really, really nice.
Although I think in this case less is more - I’m not convinced you needed to mash it up with the Trifonic sample. What you have created around Brad’s vocals is strong enough to stand on its own. But hey, it’s a great track regardless. |

thanks guys. i hear where colab is coming from, and honestly, i think sometimes i walk a fine line between “gimmicky” and effective, and i think here i was a a bit nervous about creating a remix too much like the original, and when i heard how well amelia’s vocals fit, it was hard to resist. i had to do a bit of slicing to get them to sit right in brad’s arrangement, but i thought the pitch/key was pretty spot on and like i said, lyrically, i thought it was also pretty cool how well it worked together.

It seems that the arrival of Brad’s new samples has brought out some exceptional work from you.
This is a great example of mixing and goes to show that just a few basic sounds and some great vocals can really work so well together. The slow build up and the subtle touches work really well and the production quality is first rate. Excellent work!! |

I like the idea of mixing Broken and You’re not going anywhere… it fits incredible well.

You’ve got a great talent for taking disparate sources, and making them seem like they were born to fit together.
On this one, the way you’ve used the trifonic vocal makes it sound like it was meant to fit right over the Brad tracks. You make it seem far easier than it probably was. :) |
