thanks for the kind words and the useful critique. I’ve got to run this through my system again, to see if I can isolate the reds better. Sometimes my little softstudio shows “almost red” when it comes out as “scarlett o’maroon”.

dude you should be producing ambient soundscapes for movie studios. I just picture this track being an intro to a movie where the camera just floats around through a dimly lit house looking a strange artistic objects and symbols that will somehow carry some significant meaning in the film.

Definitely an imagery song

Thanks! By coincidence, I’ve linked up with 2 indie film fellows who want to use my things in films. I have had just enough involvement with the film business through my “day job” to know that approaches do not equal to finished success, but it’s pretty exciting.

I think of my work as “truly ambient”, in that it is intended to be background music for daydreams, visuals, or long drives. That makes things like your visual here satisfying, because it tells me I am achieving what I set out to do.

Feels a bit ominous and has qualities of finality about it. Great moody piece.

samples work well together - I especially like the parts with the low pitched droning sound - thanks a lot for including “How I Did It” on all your recent pieces - it’s interesting & helpful to learn about others’ techniques….. .. .
