there are great things going on here, I like the string/beat — but I get more distracted than intrigued by the tonal discrepencies against the vocals. imo this is close.

Thanks for the input… so you’re saying better mixing or just less of the vocals altogether? All input is welcomed with a cup of cocoa and warm fuzzy slippers!

creativity is cool feature of your remix, but that disharmony is a bit weird for me. i guess it is it done on purpose.. well, harmony is very personal thing, thats why not all people like jazz which is full of dissonanses. tho, i dont see the point why you decided to not ‘tune’ this one sound.
overall its fine and original, which for me is most important thing. In my mind our role here on ccmixter is to show different perspectives and variety of interpretations…and u did it quite well:) |

Thanks for all the input. I am fine tuning the quirks… should be done sometime today.

Impressive. I don’t know if you’ve done any changes since you first uploaded this track, but i like it just the way it is. Love what you did with the vocals.
Nice job. |

Fixit, I like the mood on this 1.
Very dramatic soft and airy… It reminds me of an old PM DAWN song:) |
