A minor chilled electronica approach is a good approach, although the vox/melody admixture doesn’t perfectly fit.

I like those beats a lot, but I’m not sure that the beats add to the vibe here. They are good beats in general.

I like the way you’re wisely trying to accent the vocal rather than over-burden it. The voice does sound a bit “laid on top”, though, and I suspect you might benefit from bringing the backing up a bit.
