Everything works very well together. I’m not an expert but the pella really feels like it was made for that beat.

Great mix!

mellow hardness… I love that loop too! Of course the casual nastiness of the drum track, with that little octave-bop doesn’t hurt, either… I guess 2008 didn’t catch you napping!

I really liked this…and have listened it to a few times now….which is really unusual cause I usually have hard time sitting through hip hop tracks. There is a feeling of space to the arrangement that frames the lyrics wonderfully!

Lovely :)

Like narva9, I need a little converting to hip-hop, but this certainly does it for me!

Solid set of beats lead into the rap-and-soft-guitar. I like the way the pan works on the vocals to keep things moving in my headphones.

The little synth at :45 is nice, and builds energy in the piece in contrast to the more languid guitar loop touches.

I like that nothing is bombastic, so that the vocals are made the primary thing.

The lead rapper sure has a solid, easy style—easy to understand and very fluid delivery.

I’d like to hear the bass up slightly, and a bit of poppin’ hat, but not so far up as to be a distraction.

There is never really an “all you gotta do” in life, but so often some moments seem as if there might be.

I like that instrumental extro, and wish that it had also been an instrumental break.

What makes this mix special for me is that the music supports the very solid spoken parts without anything feeling extra, stereotyped or surplus. Kudos to all involved for a very solid track.
