I’m already a huge fan of P.Mac and this is a super tight use of his stuff. Wonderful, almost tribal breakbeats this inspired me to pick up a djembe and jam with your mix.
You could have made the backing track a ‘bit’ louder. I totally understand the need to make sure the vocals are clear and you’ve done that beautifully but more bass wouldn’t hurt the legibility of the vocal line. If your worried about that side-chain compress the the mix against the vocal. (google search for side-chain effects to get an idea of how to do that.
Really good though.
TIGHT track that hypes great vocals.

Thanks for your coment.
For side chain compress, I don’t use ACID or CUBASE but I’ve seen that a small software can do this also, so I’ll see … I have a lot of problem with every aspect of mixing.

yea, you might want to consider switching software (I know that alone could be a lot of work, with a steep learning curve) but your mixing ideas are so strong it’s a shame the mix is so ‘quite’ and ‘dull’ (I don’t mean un-exciting in energy, I mean frequency range)
