I love being remixed come what may, but I particularly love remixes which are so alive and creative and such a departure. The vibe I’m getting is less “drugged up” and more Zoviet France, with a spirit of found sound and improvisation thriving.
Your Boards of Canada reference fits as well, of course.

When I was 20something, I rode a bus from Bristol back to London. When we arrived, I found that my wallet had fallen out on the bus.
I had to pay a cab driver with pocket change as he took me back to the station. The English soundscape this mix evokes for me is the feel of that evening, riding in serenity from place to place, followed by noise and cushion shuffling (where the wallet was found, thank goodness), and the whole “rambling ideas in a foreign place amid the headrush forward of life”.

Thank you for doing such a fun secretmixter remix!

The effects work so well, and create a hard-to-define feel I just love.

This is an amazing job!
