i agree that Kara comes from the future, or some higher realm of intelligence and creativity! this mix has all of the delicious goodness of Vidian (why i’m such a huge fan). brilliant!

The way you create electronica dance music… it has so much happiness… so much love… it’s emotionally touching… It often makes me think of the band Postal Service- one of my fav electro collabs (and I’m not a huge Death Cab for Cutie fan either)… the happy, bouncy, poppy melodies. I love this. I especially love that you brought some of my dear friends along for the ride (Speck, Ciggi Burns, and Panu singing backups). As for your endearing compliments- thank you. I must, however, assure you that I am not cool. I’m just a nerd who has creatively let go and likes to explore and soak in the influences around me (and so often the influences come from ccMixter). Thank you, Vidian.

Haha. No cool people think they’re cool, just like crazy people don’t know they’re crazy :P and yeah, the “uses samples from” really doesn’t show all the people used in Vocalology :\ but yeah, there were some magical moments in there with all the peoples voices you entangled together that I had to use :P Also, I love how you say your not cool, but say nothing about coming from the future.. I’m onto you Kara..

This is fun, I dig what you did with Kara’s voice, giving it a slightly more artificial sound… a funny contrast to the title of the track.

Deconstructed Kara!!! This was an incredibly visual mix for me. I could see great ‘shapes’ and ‘colours’ throughout the mix. What a natural high :)
