Thank you!! You nailed it, Zero7 was exactly the sound I was going for :) I haven’t heard that album in a long time but I really liked it. When I heard the acoustic and then the pell it just sort of clicked.

This is quite an ear worm, still stuck weeks later :D

I was thinking specifically of the When It Falls album, I’ve loved it since the day it got released.

I’d recommend J.Viewz Rivers & Homes album, which scratches the same itch for me, particularly Something’s Quiet Now :)

Hey, can you attach your vocal stem to the downloads, with processing but without reverb? I’d like to preserve all your clever edits if I/we decide to remix your remix ;)

I really liked it, you were spot on again. Vocalist has a very similar style. No problem, I’ll post the vocal edit without reverb when I get home.

Hey I uploaded the vocal. Unfortunately, I could not take out all of the reverb, I must have recorded it as audio. I sometimes use a trial version of Nectar so to get the reverb I have to record the effect as an audio track. I took out the echo ping pong stuff though so this may at least be somewhat more useful to you. I guess I should save the original vocal tracks from now on. : (

J Viewz are pretty cool, the whole album is a keeper, very slick…and I’m not even on commission lol :D

No problems with the vocal, I’d like to listen to it solo to hear what you did with it. I appreciate the detail in your mix and I’m sure it wasn’t all just a happy accident, like a lot of my own production lmao :D

I’ve not even come across Nectar, living in this cave has it’s downsides I guess. I use reason 6 and so I’m using Neptune to do similar things.

You know, I’m not sure…but if I’m not mistaken I don’t think I did a whole lot to the vocals. I think I made a couple of pitch changes and I’m not sure if I adjusted the timing at all…oddly enough. But I don’t remember. It might actually have been a happy accident..lol.
Yeah I downloaded a trial of Nectar a while ago, I just now started using it again. I really like some of the genre presets.
