honestly, i’d love it if you felt inclined to take on any other public domain traditional stuff and posted it. you’ve got an amazing gift in your voice, and these types of songs are timeless classics that really show off their emotional bang when sung by you.

only very minor glitch…when you hit the “i once was lost…” you redline for a split second. but that’s a minor thing compared to the performance and effort.

Well, I had planned to because of Fourstone’s heartfelt request. I just didn’t think folks would respond so positively to it. I remember J Lang posted a gospel song of some group he was working with. Then, a indiviadual took Lang’s upload and created a song that was so rude and disrespectful of the songwriter’s original intention that he unpublished it. I was so angry (& I’m not a religious person) because of the total disrespect for Lang’s and the group’s gift to CCMixter.

I gotta admit; I’m somewhat caught off guard by the strong positive reactions to these performances. Thanks again.

On another note, I’ve got to be more mindful of ‘redlining’. I’ve got such a big mouth that I forget myself!!! But I will be more conscious in future performances and uploads! Thanks for the heads up!
