Je pense que le résultat est à la hauteur du travail que vous avez réalisé, c’est du grand Siobhan.

The vocal works with the backing track on an emotional and musical level

Thank you. Your comment really is a bit of a release.
It was quiet a challenge to make this wonderful love song sound so melancholic. And I was not sure it is good fit. After a certain level of development I was not able to change the chords anymore.

this is truly beautiful! you’ve reworked the chords and structure of Scomber’s pell wonderfully — and have given new depth and meaning to his lyrics. the piano is lovely. the bowed bass gorgeous. and is that a real zither? amazing! beautiful, beautiful work.

Thank you Emily for carefully listening.
The Zither is unfortunately a sampled VST Instrument (only)

Im blown away by this S! Listening on repeat I missed my stop on the train :/.
Chords work wonderfully. You are right, sometimes its hard to listen to your own vox reframed, but not here - you add something magical and different to the orginal meaning (which was very personal and exposed). Kinda like watching myself in a porno; but this time instead of noticing every pimple on my bum, Im slapping my own arse here! A wonderful gift and thank you so much for your kind words!

Sorry for you missing the train. I hope it had no impact ;-)

The interplay between the strings and the piano at the end is particularly lovely. Very nicely done song.

Shucks. Thank you.
It was the last change I did to the track. Had it piano solo before. ;-)

Just enough and not too much. You let the vocal really shine while carrying so much emotion. Really well done! Love your instrumental palette too.
