My that is a bit sad—-I listed at work earlier today and was also reminded of the Arial cd. Thanks for making me sad ;)

I actually think it’s your piano that holds all the tenderness. It’s so delicately mournful. Thank you again for sharing. (I’m working on something else too that features your piano… I’ll finish it eventually.)

This is beautiful, Susan. You always pick such fantastic source material. And you always paint something amazing with that canvas!

Thank you Jeris. There is such a great wealth of sound available to play with — we’re so lucky! I’ve started to think about ccMixter as my band!

And I am honored by the ed pick. Thanks.

Ooo… fragile… raw… haunting whispers… and beautiful. This piece creates a moment. A moment that demands attention. A heavy, heavy moment to ponder… and feel.

My favorite music is the kind that induces feeling. Yours always does this.

Congrats on the Ed Pick. You deserve it.

Thanks Kara. I’m so glad you find my music to be invoking of feeling. While some songs — even some great songs — come from ideas, I do believe the most poignant songs come from feeling.

Excellent. Like something from Joni Mitchell’s later recordings. Very well balanced production too. Conveys a quite attractive, beautiful & mature melancholy. Congrats to the Ed-pick. This is really good.

Beautiful work, Susan. Wistful, melancholy. A very deft production with the lightest of touches…
