Then in December, people would be lying on the couch going, “Ohhhhhhh…. I ate too much.” It should be a February song. The Sun’s back out, and the lakes are frozen over. The harmonies on this are great, and I can practically hear the sleigh bells and see the breath off the horse steaming up into the cold.

It’s my favorite holiday even though I cook for a gazillion people (although I do overcook which means I have not had to cook at all this week — and for some reason, the leftovers have not yet become tiresome).
