I like that intro leading into the
nice little keyboard chill, but for me the keyboard is so much less evident than the vocals as to be overwhelmed by the vocals.

I like the “somethin’s gotta give” line, which is a really effective break in the action.

At “so sorry the party has ended” I’m not sure your timing is dead on, although I am not a great ear for timing.

I’d like to hear the melody and especially the beat come up, although the little drum bit is a bit virtual, and might benefit from a sound that is a bit more natural.

Here I really like the melody you’ve written, and the interspersed vocal, but the mix issues for me take away from the great ideas in the piece.

well, now i wish i hadn’t read gurdo’s review, as i was thinking about his points as i listened and whether or not i agreed with him. doh. :)

while i would go out on a limb and say that gurdo probably gives the most insightful reviews of anyone here, i gotta disagree with him here. now we’re not gonna battle or nothing….i just think the piano loop sits ok in the mix relative to the rap, agree with the “somethings gotta give” break being effective. synch wise, it’s pretty close if not on. i think this is pretty well done. but tighten up that ending dude. :)

Hey man, Thanks for remixing my track, I like beat you got goin here, and the mix sounds straight to me on all levels. You got the vocals outta sync a lil bit, you got em commin in too early. most everyone I have heard who remixed this has the vocals off beat. Dunno whats up with that. Anyways, good beat, if the vocals were spot on, id really be feelin this
