Oh my… I’m not saying much… I don’t want to ruin the surprise for anyone else. This is magnificent. Wow.

Slightly out of my key so I had to piece it together to sing it, but thank you as always :)

I always think it’s the sign of a great musician who can take a bunch of tracks and make them into something magical but who can also just take a simple accompaniment and add that something that makes it their own.
You are one of these people and CCM is all the better for it. |

That’s really kind of you to say , as Garth says in Waynes World ` I like to Play ! ’ :)

So moving. Your grief is tangible and somehow beautifully human. I’m so honored to be part of this.

Heartbreaking, but oh so beautifully expressed. So very sorry for your loss.

Thanks, just for the record , this is a somewhat imagined story thru the eyes of the wife of a real friend who seriously lived life to the full.

Beautiful, beautiful lyrics. Is this written for a specific musical theater piece?
|
.
No, not a specific project but every so often I find a piece of music that lends itself to this kind of style. I get see a lot of musical theatre and have a bunch of finished songs like this to date. Maybe I can write a story one day and fit them all in. :-)

An astrologer once told me that you need strong Virgo in your chart to be really musical. Now I know what she meant. Most of us know how it feels to lose someone loved and the empty hole they leave. Your lyrics are beautiful.

Thank you. It was a writing challenge to find as many fitting `Oohs’ as possible.:-)

Beautifully/sensitively conceived and performed. The word pastoral comes to mind, and the warm melancholy glow of a summer evening of memories.

Thanks Speck , you have made a pretty accurate and pictorial description of how some real life incidents are remembered.
