This is mellow pop music magic. I really like the chord changes, and the tasty bass underpinnings. And the delicate arpeggios on the guitar.

in southern Oklahoma a nature reserve called Red Slough exists. It’s not forested or mountainous, but instead a flat bit of wetlands over red clay.
Alligators raise their young there, which is pretty far north for an alligator, but they like it.

Herons, egrets, dowitchers, ducks, geese, killdeer, and all other manners of shore loving birds hang out in the ponds and sloughs there.

My wife and I toured the place with the kind ranger. Once, he paused to look to see a single dragonfly, to see what it was like. The right dragonfly can be like that, you know. You pause to look and listen and wonder.

Some extradorinary chord voicings/choices that add another level of sophisticated beauty to Snowflake’s inherently gorgeous song. Happy new year to you and yours — here’s to health, inspiration, time, abundance and love.

Sorry so late…it’s still January at least :-). Transformation takes time, you know.

As far as mixes go, this one caught me by surprise. I’ve lost some of my reviewing vocabulary and musical knowledge so I’m not sure how to describe it but there’s something unpredictable with this that I really like. It combines some of what you’ve been doing in different genres and sound palettes together.

No longer imitation, it seems a new musical voice is being born. Or it could all just be fan hyperbole…:-)

Happy New Year big guy…may all your dreams take flight…
