A relaxing, joyful listen! The interview had me smiling the whole time. Your podcasts feel like ccMixter celebrations! (And thank you for those super-kind words… I truly appreciate your never-ending kindness.) I’m so glad you’re doing these shows! :D

Just between you and me (in a Shakespearian aside :) I wasn’t sure how the interview with him would come across… I’m glad it met you well :) So there isn’t much excessive kindness you are a super-hero Kara! I checked out the video by the way… Nicely done for you and the producer! I don’t know why but I think a stop motion video of your music would be cool… Kinda like the new AFP video :) Anyway. Thanks for your kindness as always.

Thanks for the heads-up about the new AFP vid… AWESOME! (I like that song more than a lot of her recent stuff, too.) And, yeah, a stop motion vid would be sooooo cool… Of course, I’ve got no idea how to do it… Thanks for the props, btw.

Thanks for this KF—I enjoyed listening and, like Kara, the interview had me smiling. And good point you made about the positive vibe around here, as compared to other websites. Look forward to the next episode!

Thanks for the kind words :-) I guess I was only off a little on the pronunciation :-) Your track was a must from the first time I heard it and it was sandwiched with some very merry company :-) Thanks for letting me use it for the podcast :-) can’t wait to hear the next duckett masterpiece.
Cheers! |

love your show! you have a great vibe and a super swell curation (thanks so much for including me) — and I enjoyed learning more about Kungfu Fritjers. Bravo!

Well thank you for listening :-) It is a great pleasure putting all the pieces together and I am always amazed at the difference in listening to progressive or contrasting pieces together as opposed to as separate entities. Thanks again for your kind words and of course your gifts of sound you share here!
Cheers! |

Oh my gosh, what a lovely piece to listen to while creating. I’m doing some user interface design and Steeped is totally helping. Thanks!

Being a music therapist/visual designer by trade that comment is especially kind. I think music is a great stabilizer of mood and thought, with a little bit of intent, can be great impetus for efficient and creativity powerful work :-) If you ever want a second pair of eyes on any of your design work just send me a note. I love how many personal and professionally diverse this community has proven to be.

Enjoyed every minute, from the joyous opening track to the looped end notes. Well, there was an embarrassing bit in there (but thanks). I admit I haven’t listened to many podcasts, (I’m old enough to want technology to stop now, or a while ago, so I don’t have to learn anything beyond the flip phone) but this is one of the smoothest ones I’ve encountered, production-wise. More importantly your personality, humor, and heartfelt enthusiasm for what you’re doing come across clear as a bell. And playground is right. A playground with no mean kids.

Well you are just too kind :-) This podcast has been a joy to create so I am even more glad to have heard the peace, joy or exhilaration it has helped others to achieve :-) Thanks again Speck. For an old-timer technocrat you use these modern tools incredibly well :-) I think I heard Fatboy Slim uses an Atari for most of his work… Hmm… That gets me thinking…
Cheers! |
