I found myself singing along to this quite happily and it would be nice if you could post the backing track.
It’s one of those simple but infectious melodies that make you keep humming bits throughout the day! Nice work! |

I found melissak’s vox a tad loud in parts, but who am I to criticize? Very hard mixing a spoken word against such a rich tapestry without fear of losing it. Catchy tune…. |

Thanks for your review, Scomber! Could you say the specific times when you find her voice too loud? I agree, I think it is too loud at points as well, but I’ve worked with the mix for so long at this point I don’t have an unbiased view any more. :D

You know, I just re listened a few more times and I’m stuffed if I can hear it now. My ears may have got used to it too. Maybe the frequency the vocal occupies is confronting and by its self with lots going on at either end of the EQ or maybe I’m just drinking too much?

:D I’ll have to let it sit for a year or so and then come back to it…or lock my bandmate in a room until he hears it! I’m convinced that it’s not quite done yet too, though. One of these days it’ll bite me in the nose!

Aye Aye boys, have I mentioned i dig the DoKashiteru sound?… (I’ve been off the scene for a couple of months so you may have forgotten :-)
This is another example of your stylish big beat influenced work. The speech over the piano works magic above the synth melody / low tone bass. You can always rely on a DoKashiteru track for a catchy synthetic melody and cool beats. Nice work as per usual chaps  |
