You turned Susan into a mellow James Brown! I dig the laid back simmering funk groove, and I like that you’ve kept the voice front and center, even as you fill it with neat ping pong percussion.

Hee, Thanks very much! And yeah, it’s important to me to keep the vocals the star, no matter how much goofing around I’m trying with the instruments. Especially when the vocalist rocks. If the production distracts from her, I’m way overdoing it.
