Process
I used the Sleepless tracks as ways to marry the disparate parts of this work. I blended the zikweb and hagerman works, because they are similar, with zikweb's black snow being an excellent remix of hagerman. I sampled, chopped and cut away the different pieces to try to achieve an integrated and unexpected whole.
Other Notes
Musically, my goal originally was to do something which juxtaposes Claire Fitch's work with DAC Crowell.
Aesthetically, I wanted to create a mindscape of the surge of thoughts in a meditative moment in a serene place.
