Samples I Used
The main samples were the two samples from Lisa DiBenedictis (her back vocals from Below) and her a capella from Cuckoo, and the a capella of Brad_Sucks. The other two samples were found spontaneously and mutilated to fit.
Process
I first tried to decide which one of the a capellas should lead the song - so I law them on seperate tracks and started playing them, shifting them until it eventually clicked in my head where I could add overlaps.
Most of the remaining time (after having to reconstract everything after the computer crash) was adjusting the positions of the individual vocals and the equalizers/filters for the volume and tone of voice.
Other Notes
I am rather happy with the result, despite it being rather... disparate. It was a silly idea which actually kind of worked, in a strange way.
This site uses
